At Set & Drift, we work to keep the Puget Sound healthy, and want to ensure that people are able to enjoy fresh seafood straight from these waters for generations to come!
We partnered with Foreterra land conservancy to help preserve 6,700 acres of forestland in Port Gamble for public access through proceeds from the 2017/2018 sales of FjordLux oysters. This provides a natural area for the Puget Sound community, and helps maintain local water quality. Forterra reached their fundraising goal over the summer of 2017!
With our FjordLux oyster sales, Set & Drift committed to preserving one acre of Port Gamble forestland. We participated in a matching contribution challenge with Forterra, and so helped save two acres of this local forest!
